Safety Coordination:
Mike Brown and the Paragators Club will handle flight operations/safety duties. They understand the need to maintain safe operations and know how to balance safety and fun flying.  We want all pilots to fly, have fun and be safe.

Mike & Company will insure that the event has the best safety possible while allowing it to be a fun time.

Traffic Pattern:
All pilots should become familiar with the flying traffic pattern. The safety officers on duty will be happy to explain in more detail. (the patterns will be posted on this site very soon)

Flying At The Event:
Unlike past years, flying will be open during all daylight hours.

Over 30+ acres of mowed Florida grass will be available as a landing and takeoff area. The takeoff and landing area will be divided so pilots can set up with less worry about waiting for pilots to land.

There will be a place for foot drags, and low fly-bys.

Mandatory Safety Items:
- GMRS FRS Radios
- Helmet
- Headset for Transmission and Reception
- Earplugs
- Batteries (and spares)

Radio Channel:
One of the tasks of our safety officers is to ensure that all pilots can at least receive on the appropriate frequency and sub-code (if required). Radios with ear buds are acceptable – a pilot must be able to receive and understand communications from the safety officers in order to takeoff.

Primary Channel is 6
Secondary Channel is 5
